Happy Thanksgiving from Phoenix Real Estate Guy!
<abbr></abbr><abbr>gulfshoreslife´s last blog post..Snake Hunting at Lake Washington, MS</abbr>
I'm not even sure where to start with your comment.
I was in the band room when the kids were told that Kelly had died.
Have you ever been in a room with 150 kids when they were informed that their friend was killed? I can assure you that it will make an impact on you.
This has nothing to do with drawing traffic. I get plenty of traffic. This has to do with the tragic death of a 16 year old. Leads or traffic is the least of my concern right now. I'm trying to help my daughter and her friends through their loss, and make it as easy as possible for people to help the Tracy's.
I know a lot of <del datetime="2008-11-20T05:14:39+00:00">Keller Williams</del> Century 21 agents. Until now, they've all shown the utmost in class.
And for the record, yes, I have contributed hard dollars and time to this cause, and will continue to do so.
Joe, You obviously have not met Jay, or you would know that there was not even a *thought* about himself at all. I can not believe you would even say such a thing - taking something so precious as Kelly's memory and insulting anyone doing whatever they can to help. Examine your own heart.

Seeing as how Jay is too polite to say it, you're an asshole. Jay was in the room when it happened, helped console the kids, talked to the papers in an effort to shield the family and THEN decided to help raise money.
People like you make me sick. Stay off the Internet and think twice before you post an idiot comment like that. I'd love for you to tell me that in person and I'd be happy to respond in a completely inappropriate way.
Jay, you're a great dude. He wasn't even worth a response.
Come on. Did you really write that?
In situations such as this, one must assume positive intent on the part of everyone. If not, you twist the situation into being about you instead of the tragedy. And you come off looking like the jerk.
Did you know Jay has turned away reporters, from himself and from the family? Do you see anything in the story he has told other than genuine concern and sensitivity? If so, please site the place because I cannot find it!
It's not about you or your self-righteousness. It's not about Jay or traffic to his site. It's about a 16-year-old who was needless killed and all the lives that were shattered because of it. It's about helping heal the gapping wound. This is truly a time when you should not say anything if you can't say something nice.
Second, unlike some people, we know that Jay is doing this out of his desire to help his daughter, the Tracy's and their friends and family cope with this terrible loss. Jay Thompson is a class act and we commend him for what he has done here. I'm sure the Tracy's feel the same way.
Lastly, although it sounds trite, if we can do anything Jay, please let us know. God bless, my friend.

Hey Joe- have you ever lost a child- I hope not- and what a loser you are to think a very successful broker/blogger would use tragedy to "get traffic".
God Bless Kelly and her family!!

Jay, Thank you for helping this family in need by word of the internet and funds. We need more people like you who care.
I apologize. I should have read lower on your Blog to find your personal connection to our friend. I did not realize your daughter was in Band with Kelly. Cindy taught my daughters how to sing, praise, and worship and Kelly was always by her side. We are all devistated and trying to help how we can.
There are some in our business who might try to take advantage of this type of tragedy and I'm glad you are not like that. My wife and I, being the Tracys Realtors, were a little miffed when we saw reference to your website in the Arizona Republic. I acting out inappropriately towards you and again I apologize.
We thank you for your efforts and we pray for comforting and healing for the Tracy's and all of us who miss Kelly.
Thank you,
Mary.
And as for link love to Jay (though he says he does not want it), I think he deserves it for not just this post but the many unselfish and truly useful and loving ones he has given us over these past few years. He is a member of the REnet that truly has earned our respect.

Your judgemental posting is old ground. Did you even read the article?
Also, your post is number 20. Scroll up and read post 13 by Joe Grekowicz as he apologized for a previous post similar to yours.
If you are going to be self-righteous, be sure your platform is solid or you look a fool.
I really shouldn't waste my time responding to your comment.
Were you in the room with the band when they were told Kelly had been killed?
I was. And let me tell you, it sucked. It sucked beyond any human comprehension. I hope that you never have to experience something like that. No, actually, I could care less what you do or don't experience. I hope the kids never have to experience something like that again, and God help any family that has to endure what the Tracy's must go through on a daily basis.
Not that it's any of your business, but yes I did contribute a significant amount of both time and money to the Kelly Tracy fund.
For the record, yes, I removed both the URL to your blog and the link to your latest blog post. I'm not about to "share the link love" with someone that has no respect for me, or more importantly the Tracy's and the memory of Kelly.
Now how about doing me a favor and never read this blog or comment on it again.
@alan - thank you.
I read this post when it was first created. It was a tragedy then and a tragedy now.
You are a jerk and should have read the entire commentary before proving it!
